Hi Folks!

I just want to inform you, that a new batch of GVP-RAM Modules will be available on http://www.a1k.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49495 !
The circuit boards are available for 4 and 16 MB GVP RAMs If you are interested in, declare your interest in the Thread on a1k.org !

The price will be round about 7 Euro per board!

You have to assemble the Simms by yourself! Only the PCB´s are available !

@Moderators

hope I am in the right section for this anouncment

Would do if icould register lol

Try google translate - that's what I did. And btw. a moderator has to approve your post before your post appears on the thread. So post once and wait. I've posted 3 times because I did not understand the German message - they must think I'm a retard if all 3 gets approved :picard

Registering over there is a proper ordeal, when I had the question answered, the code failed for some reason, but got there finally..:o

this is because Spam-Bot Protection :-) your first 5 posts are moderated :-)
Got that already figured out, but a question like what kind of MC68000 is in the A2K, should it be DIL, or DIL with the amount of pins, see where I' coming from? And what's the most popular CD burning program, it all depends on your own preference.

A1k Forum must have the worst register/log-in system ever. I have tried to register several times with no luck :P
Can you please post picture and information about this in your first post?

U might want to post the pictures price and details here on Amibak 1k is a nightmare to register with and this might put potential buys off.

Haven't got enough posts under my belt yet to see pics, but I do have some NOS chips over here, and I also have the skills to solder them.
Unfortunately I don't have any GVP boards to test them.

I remember that GVP simms were very dear back in the good old days, and for € 7,- you're just having a laff...

Looks like I was locked out because the seller thinks I ordered them for re-sale, :( which is incorrect. I've made a post explaining that I have 7 GVP accelerators in my collection (and probably more coming in the future) and wanted to build enough RAM so that I never have to buy GVP SIMMs again (sadly I sold all my SIMMs years ago - which was a mistake).

If any of you speak German and could vouch for me on his thread I would appreciate that..

German is not mandatory, I tried it with my best steinkuhlen German, and I got a reply in both German and English, so you should be just fine.

Think they should encourage resale on these. If there was a lot for sale especially with chips installed it would greatly improve the situation for gvp accelerator owners. I don't own one but probably would have bought one if the ram wasn't so difficult to come by.

Sucess, I've managed to change his mind with a help of a few Amibay mebers - thanks for that. To show my goodwill and to contribute to his project, I'm offering a limited free assembly service on the thread below. (I hope I don't regret it) Please only use this service if you really need it.
