Are you preparing it correctly? Fat95 and cfd installed?

Strange as it's working here. I'd be happy to swap it for one of mine if it helps.

Interesting thread! I kept reading and thought this could be a good CF card for me. I've been on the lookout for a CF card that I know will work and that is not too expensive. Unfortunately, it seems to be UK only =(

It might not be cost effective overseas as the cheapest airmail is now £3 outside UK.

@nobby_uk,

I wonder if there are two or more versions of these cf's? I'll check my original one in PCMCIA and report back.

So I guess the advice is buy with caution as I still didn't get a response to my query I made to the seller regarding the size discrepancies.

I changed it from Primary to Logical and it now shows up :o

However, it locks up during Transfer of Data
:roll:

Interesting technique using PCMCIA adaptors to discover if a brand is dodgy/counterfeithttp://reviews.ebay.ie/FAKE-SanDisk-Extreme-Compact-Flash-Cards-Exposed_W0QQugidZ10000000001456526

Tried it as an Amiga Hard Drive = 2 x 1958 Meg parts Formatted.

Will Re-format as FAT32 to see if that helps.

Nope, it did not help :(

If you still want to swap ?
PM me your address...

Works on the PC
and on the Amiga as a Hard Drive

It is now calling itself a 'SuperDisk'

I've used DaneElec CF cards in some of my Amigas and they work well. They aren't expensive when compared to other brands.
