(Not the greatest trailer, but great to see them back...)

Well since Michelle was deleted  Hello Sasha :D

I dont remember playing any Cinemaware games but they look ace! Might have to give them a whirl :)

They now have a Kickstarter for an HD remake of Wings...

Looks interesting...

I liked this from the comments section:
The original Wings was actually put together in record time, due to financial pressures. It was the last title that Cinemaware published in its original incarnation. Many potential game design ideas were left out, and we will be looking to bring back a few. You can count on at least one new arcade/mini-game section, as well as expanded story elements, RPG aspects, characters and more missions overall.
Interesting to me for 2 reasons..
One, we might get to see things originally planned but never made it....
Two, these guys aren't the original Cinemaware, but it looks as if they are at least doing their homework.. A good sign in my book...
They also have one of the original music guys from Cinemaware on board...

Interesting.. Fingers crossed that it's true to the original (in style and spirit) and successful...

I would love this so I'll go for one of the funding packages but I don't think they will get the $350,000 they are after in 30 days...

John

I'm a bit concerned about that too..
Most of the ones that succeeded have been the actual original DEVs or producers from back in the day.
(Well, the LSL guys were the same guys, but aren't going to be doing the programming, just the design)

So, I have fingers crossed, but we'll see....

I went for The Banner Saga, which was very retro on feel, but didn't have any retro guys working on it (it did have guys with games industry experience, just not older) and that succeeded..

Its going to depend a lot on how well the Cinemaware name "rings" with the non-Amiga owners and how well they get it covered (Engadget, Reddit, etc..)...

I think it will be a tough sell...

btw, did you see David Crane has started his own Kickstarter and wants $900,000!!! Whew!!! He's a huge name, but.. Wow...
