I2C bus master PCA9564 (Akuhei) in vertical incarnation: easier to install together with FastATA.

Can be configured for 5V bus supply (default 3.3v). PCA9564 bus master supports 400kHz clock rate. Fits under keyboard (height approx 25 mm). Compatible with original A1200 clock port with (0xD80001), but i2c.library recognizes other addresses, and makes use of the first one found:
0x00D80001
0x00D84001
0x00D88001
0x00D8C001
0x00D90001 (Fast Port)
0x00D80002 (Gayle adapter)
Clock ports found on various Zorro cards are also recognized (under development):
Prisma Megamix
Icomp X-Surfer
Icomp VarIO
Icomp Kickflash
Icomp ISDN Surfer

Software tested on bare 1200 with 68ec020, as well as with 030, 040 and 060 CPU.
Please specify orientation of Clock port connector:
  • angled with components under PCB (in A1k2 a 2.0mm pitch male/female CP expander is needed to connect, due to KS-chip height)
  • angled with components on top (standard for A1k2 clockport - PCB lies on RAM chip)
  • perpendicular - e.g. to connect in tight space for FastATA
and I2C pins, either:
  • "T" - to both sides of PCB,
  • double row straight "I",
  • angled to one side of PCB ("L"), or
  • no pins.
Assembled unit 18E 21E+ pp
Bare PCB 5E 6E+ pp

Postage rates changes too often to follow.
EU: E7.70 or E5.90 (depending on country)
UK: E7.70

Just want to compliment you on keeping this active. Not sure if still some programming is done or any (your?) i2c.library is finished and useable, so do you have more info on how to use this board? (e.g. what libraries/sensors/etc are supported?)

Hi dear fellow 040'er,

Indeed it's been a while. I picked up the software from strim, and made a fully working i2c.library with it, therefore it can be used for example to access various I2C sensors with Henryk Richter's i2csensor.library.

I myself use it also to provision and monitor 68060 temperature in my Apollos cards with msp430g2, which "fakes" lm75.

i2csensors.library uses simple text configuration files per sensor chip. Below is an example of LM75 configured for the address 0x9C (0x4E): A0 low, A1, high, A2 high.

Code:
[ext]
# global per device (address here in HEX, prefixed by "0x" or "$")
I2CADDRESS = 0x9c

# TYPE arguments: TEMP,VOLTAGE,CURRENT,FAN,PRESSURE
TYPE = TEMP
# number of bytes to read (1-255)
READBYTES = 2
# get unsigned data from offset (def:0)
BITOFFSET = 1
# number of bits to extract (def:READBYTES*8)
NUMBITS = 9
# multiplier, we extract an integer whose lower
# two bits are the fractional part, hence the
# multiplier is 1/4 in this case
MUL = 0.25
# no bias, formula for output value is
# output=(sensor_reading+ADD)*MUL
ADD = 0
# unit string, celsius scale in this case
UNIT = °C
# location of sign bit as bit offset from first
# value read: if omitted, then the data is considered
# unsigned
SIGNBIT = 0

For more please refer to i2csensors.library documentation.

interested in two

Payment received. Package sent. 2 units prepared: one for horizontal, and one for vertical I2C connector:

Please pay attention to the board orientation when mating with clock port - when connected reversed, +5V rail is short to _RESET line. This module is intended to be connected directly to the board (or expander connector), NOT via flat cable.
