Closing Pay Pal Account?

I bought PSP Game called Bobble bubble then it been paid already. Now I want close pay pal account but it kept saying You cannot remove this bank account because it currently has a pending transaction. This transaction may take up to 5-7 days to complete, at which time you will be able to remove the bank account. Please try again after the transaction has been completed.

So does this mean I have to wait for 7 or 8 days before I Remove it? :roll:

I got new hotmail to create new pay pal account which what I have done and I want close old pay pal account but it wont let me

I have checked My pre-approved payments on my pay pal and it seem that I have STEAM Subscriptions or Automatically invoiced payments or Instalment plan payments that been Active and it make me wonder if is game or applecations software as I need to cancel that:

This really isn't a topic for Amibay, as mentioned above.

However, I have to ask. Why are you closing a Paypal account to open another? If all you want to do is change the email address attached to it then you can just edit the existing account, add the new email address, then make it the default. I see no reason why someone needs to close an existing Paypal account to then open another one.

Regarding Steam and other online sites/services, if you have a Paypal account linked to them then this is why Paypal is complaining. Nothing nefarious. You might also have your Playstation/Xbox accounts linked. In cancelling an existing Paypal account you might lock yourself out of these services.
