Closed Commodore 128 plus 1571 bundle now splitting

Hi All,

I've decided to pass this project back into the wild, I never got round to finishing it off.

Included in the sale is:

• Commodore 128 - Main board refurbished, all custom chips and ram socketed (can easily be upgraded to 64k VRAM.) Keys are yellowed, otherwise clean.
• Jiffy Dos installed (both on the C128 and 1571
• Original Power Supply included.
• Custom Scart Lead with 40/80 column mode toggle switch. Note the MOS Video chip needs replacing for 80 column mode*
• 1571 Floppy Drive, sold as faulty. Main board was refurbished and jiffy dos installed but the drive is faulty. The clips on the facia are broken and the drive handle is split.

I'm asking (was £300/£250/£230/195) **now £175** for the lot plus shipping.

Once completed this will make and excellent setup indeed.

C128 motherboard as described above with Jiffy dos and shielding - £95 £85 (add scart lead for +£35)

Hi all, I picked up this 128 around 18 months ago as part of the kit I got from the much missed Johnim. I sent the board and 1571 off to Bas (TheCorfiot) in Greece to repair a memory fault on the board and also install Jiffy dos. The video memory is also socketed now in case I want to...

Putting this sale on hold, the 1571 has been sent away for repair. I'll update the thread once it has been looked at.

Please close this one down, it doesn't look like the drive can be repaired and I'd hate to pass on a terminal problem. I'll regroup and think about how I go forward with this one, thanks!

Back up for sale and price reduced from £300 to £250 this is to take into consideration that the drive mechanism is beyond repair, the control board and PSU have been confirmed in good working order so a refurbished/replacement drive will get this going again or it can be used for spares.
