For sale is a gently used Commodore 1541 disk drive. This drive is in good physical condition. When I got this drive, it would not read any disks. Cleaning the heads did not help. Read/write head assembly was bad. Replaced and cleaned new head assembly. This did fix the drive.
The drive does read/write disks as expected. This drive was tested for many hours after repair. It has passed all performance tests and has not failed to load anything tried. Also was able to format disks and write data with no issue.
This is for the drive itself and power cable only. No other items included other than drive and power cable. Asking $45 Plus Postage for drive. Would also be interested in trades.
I am throwing in several disks with this drive. These are being thrown in at no additional cost. I have tried several of these and they seem to work. I cannot guarantee any of them. See picture for titles.
