It is without the box, but has been stored wrapped in plastic in a dry warehouse.

Comes with:
Original test disk, manual, and euro power cable.

This Elerion person has disappeared completely from all of the forums, at least under that name. This person did have 100% positive feedback on AmiBay, so I am not sure what has happened. It's been over a month since he stated that the package was shipped and I would receive a tracking number.

Does anyone know this person?

This person has not logged in under their name since July 29th. I have not received my item, even though the seller has a great number of positive feedback reviews. Does anyone know this person? Perhaps something has happened to them?

Sorry to hear that. I don't know anything about that user, however I did have similar issue before - PayPal resolved it on my favor. No worries.

Paypal won't fix it in this case because the funds were not sent as a "goods or service", which was a little surprising to me.

If the payment was funded from a credit card, take this to the credit card company and it will be sorted out.

I have been in contact with Paypal and there are attempting to resolve the issue. I really wanted the disk drive as I don't have one of those models!

This really spoils my sense of adventure purchasing products from outside of the U.S. though, even though I have had many good transactions from other sellers in Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Germany.

This is strange. You end up paying 4% fee at the moment no matter whether you choose "as gift" or "goods and services" option, This was changed lately and it seems not many people have noticed it.

I suggest you contact the @mods Jim, they have ways of dealing with these situations.

Beside cheating, there could be a number of other reasons why your drive hasn't been shipped. Maybe the seller has fallen ill, or has acute family problems etc.. Let the moderators step in and try to help you.

Please, the correct order is PM'ing one of the mods (or all of them, just click in the report button, the little triangle with an exclamation inside) instead of naming and shaming someone that might passing a difficult time.

We are pretty good on find scammers and the like.
