For sale is one nice looking, but non working 1551 drive.
This one came to me new and unused, but in non working state. It has been collecting dust and scratches in my "I will fix it some day" box for more then 25 years, and it's apparent by now I will not take the effort.
Hopefully it will find someone who will appreciate this rare drive for just 50€ + postage.
Symptoms: Drive turns on, power led is lit, activity led is not lit, motor keeps spinning indefinitely after power up. It's quite likely one of the major chips fault (6510T, 6525 or PLA).
Grille on the top case is slightly damaged, and grille on the bottom case a bit more, but it doesn't ruin the overall good condition much. See photos.
