I have to sell, due to wrong purchase, a brand new last model of SD2IEC card, used only one time to test the correct functioning.
The item has DISKSWAP (very useful for games with two or more disks) and RESET buttons.
The case reproduce a 1541 drive (first version).
It works with all 8 bit Commodore models: C64, C128, Vic 20, C16, C116 and Plus 4; for C16, C116 and P4 it's necessary a tape port adapter (not included, but easy to find on internet).
Note that I'm also selling this item elsewhere; so if there comes offers first than here, this announce will be overtaken.
The functioning is very simple:
you have only to download from Internet the "CBM filebrowser" (it's a free software) and games.
Then you have to copy the CBM filebrowser's files and games (unzipped) on a SD card (note: the SD2IEC accept SD, to use a micro SD it's necessary an adapter, not included) formatted in FAT (until 2 gb capacity) o in FAT32 (if capacity is 4gb or above).
Then you simply load the filebrowser (the file "fb" can be renamed as you like) with classic LOAD"...",8,1, then RUN.
The program automatically identify the computer in use and launchs the correct file browser.
Then you choose the game, wait for loading (faster than a real disk drive), and play.
That's it.
I'm asking for 50 € + shipment.
