Closed Commodore 64 and 1541 ROM replacement module

Commodore 64, its floppy drive 1541 use old 2332 (4KB) and 2364 (8KB) DIP24 roms.
For example the commodore 64 roms: CHAR SET (901225-01), BASIC (901226-01), KERNAL (901227-03) or the 1541 roms: DOS (325302-01), KERNAL (901229-05) are all based on 2332/2364 DIP24 roms.

This Multirom, replaces the old rom and can be programmed with the desidered rom images.
Please ask for the desidered configuration.

The multirom can store up to 4 rom images (banks) of 8KB or 4KB - with the 27c256 installed.

The selection is done with mini jumpers.
Jumper 1 and 2 to select the rom bank:
Bank0 set 1 & 2
Bank1 unset 1 set 2
Bank2 set 1 unset 2
Bank3 unset 1 & 2

Jumper 4 to select 4KB or 8 KB bank
8KB set 4
4KB unset 4

Jumper 3 is for bank selection if a 27c512 is used.

The multirom will be shipped already programmed and tested with the customer desidered rom images.

Before, you choose the configuration: which roms do you want (you can choose up to 4 roms).
Then I will prepare the module for you.

With the configured module you can select one of the 4 rom by means of 3 soldering pads.
If you want to select roms frequently you can solder on the pads three switch with wires ...

Do you also offer the version with switches? I think it could be good for testing, so if it's to be soldered there is no point in having 4 roms available.

It will be available for the second half of december.

With this pad version you have the 4 rom available ... it's enough to remove the solder join on the pads.
Or as I said you can solder three switches on the pad with wires.
Anyway it is very useful as spare part as you have four rom in one module.
When you need to replace a rom it's enough to select the desidered rom soldering the pads and insert in the C64 rom socket.

you can have it with eprom 27c256 (up to 4 rom images) or 27c512 (up to 8 rom images) - 27c512 please add 1,50 euro.
