Was there a difference in the manufacturing of the case, or you are referring to the label on the bottom of the case? PAL vs NTSC model...

It reads to me that only the complete case is needed, not complete machine.

You need to specify rev1 or rev2 and maybe even C64G colored case.

I'll always be fooled by people who write inexplicit titles... I thought he wanted a working C64 equipped with a breadboard case (as opposed to a C64c case).
