Maybe I am missing something guys, but whether or not I support the campaign depends on other things tbh. IE Darren was part (i do believe) of the team to bring the DTV to market with Jeri Elsworth and Andreas on board who is well known in the 64 scene, so I do not see a scam. For me its about its functionality.
1 -Lets be honest, the 64's main draw back is the display quality, ie no RGB. As the 64 comes with HDMI it could be the pick up and play 64 on my LCD I have been looking for

2 -Also is the SD Card solution fully 1541 Compatible ? Or is a SD2IEC interface? (As there is no Serial Interface to attach a real 1541,1581 etc)
3 -Yes it could well be a PI2 or 3 in the case, but if they devise a clean front end so that it boots straight into 64 basic 2.0 and feels like a 64, then this is not a bad thing.
4 -Price for the dekstop is £106. Lets be honest here, to buy a PI2 then make the case, and connect the keyboard in such a clean form factor will probably cost the same if not more (PI2, Keyrah, USB Hubs etc etc)
5 - Possible DTV compatability in the future
If you compare this to the Vega, it seems to be a more rounded machine (IE has a keyboard

) and trying to stick to the classic design.
Not trying start a war of words, just my thoughts

as I love the 64/128 machines so much
