Guys,

I wouldn`t normally mention this on here but their is a Commodore 65 for sale on `the other bay`... I won`t submit a link as it`s against the rules but a quick search should get you there...

Is this genuine i wonder..

Cheers,

Read about it on Lemon64. :) A great collector's item but not financially feasible for me. I'd be afraid to use it for fear of it breaking down!

:p

If I win the lottery I will buy it, but untill then, no way.
I wonder if it will sell ;)

I removed the price. I'm sure it would not be price guiding since they are such rare beasts, but we have to enforce the rules throughout the site.

For that figure i doubt it but if i won the lottery that is a small price to get something so unique. He also mentions about a P500 and a few other hard to get items. If this is genuine he stands to make a good few pennies!

Cheers,

I seem to remember the last C65 sold on evilbay went for a LOT less, and it was also a working unit.

No idea where he got that price from, but I doubt it'll sell.

Don't be so sure! I do recall a few months ago another working one (sold by someone who also had more pieces) for a lot more; he even offered air tickets for the buyer and a night out! And it did sell. This will sell too, just keep watching! :)

LOL the C65 didn't sell. Huge shock there

Its to be expected give the huge amount of 'investment, will only increase in value' etc :censored: spin. Buying a really rare computer isn't going to make someone famous, so why post that junk in the listing.

there was another c65 a year or so ago which sold for around $lots iirc... madness.
