Hi,
I bought this 1.5 years ago from a nice member. As seen on pics, the A590 itself is in very nice condition. In my opinion, there is NO yellowing or maybe slight yellowing. It does not have an original box, has a near perfect custom made box. The PSU has been yellowed and the power cable that connects the PSU to the A590 is not an original one. It is a spare BLACK one. The drive works perfectly, no problems. It has the original installation disks, has the copy of the manual, not the original one.
I turned it on once or twice when I first boght it then kept in a dry place. It works perfect. But when I bought it, roms had been changed with the new ones. I am not very good at A590 so I can not exactly tell the version of roms. Seller also did not remember but it should be V7 or later V6. Also previous seller had changed the drive, but again he does not remember if it is 200 mb or 400mb. I also add the original ROMs. I also do not remember the free space when I turned it on. Anyway, if it is original 20 MB, be cool
If it is 200 MB, be happy
, if it is 400 MB, keep it as a bonus and pray for me
His answer to these was :
"Regarding the A590, it's in fully working conditions, fully populated with 2MB of Fast RAM and with a 200MB (Or was it 400MB?) SCSI disk. It's in excelent cometic conditions too. Also I've updated the ROM to the latest Commodore version, v7, from the one it came, v.6.1 or v.6.6. I still keep the original ROMS. It's unboxed. The seal was already broken when I bought it, perhaps to upgrade the RAM and swap the HD for a bigger one. Those old XT-IDE 20MB drives got dead easily. I replaced the ROM chips to make it more "attractive" for the pottential buyers who may want it to swap HD for a even bigger one. The v7 ROMS has support for bigger hardrives. I think v6.x has a 400MB limit and v7 supports drivers bigger than 1GB for actual full drive size, not partition size.
As I said, I keep the original ones intact in a box."
I am asking GBP 120 + shipping + paypal fees. For the shipping, for almost everywhere in Europe, I think it will cost around GBP 45. What we can do is, because it is very hard to go to the post office everytime to get a shipping quote and it is really hard to tell the price without going there in person, buyer can pay GBP 45 for the shipping and if shipping costs more than that, I can inform and ask what to do; if it costs less than GBP 45, I will refund the difference immediately.
*selling elsewhere also.
Thanks.....
