Selling this Commodore Amiga 4000 desktop computer:

Amiga 4000
25 MHz 68040 Processor
2MB Chip RAM
16MB Fast RAM
Quantum Fireball Hard Drive
Amiga Keyboard

Tested with a spare mouse I have, but mouse NOT included.
Coin battery installed, as pictured. I'm not sure if it was recapped or not, but board looks in great condition to my eyes.

Boots to Workbench. I don't know much about these anymore - it's been way too long!
System originally had a CyberGraphX graphics card installed, but that has been removed and sold separately.

I've described the system to the best of my abilities, but of course due to the age of the system I am selling as-is.

All pics and a video of it booting are here:

I will pack well, wrap in bubble wrap, and double box to help ensure safe shipment.
I am open to shipping options, but only safe, reliable methods.
I don't want to risk causing me or the buyer unneeded stress to save a few dollars in shipping or customs.

$2400 $2500 + shipping. Zelle preferred or PayPal F&F. Located in Massachusetts, USA.

Edit: Price dropped to $2400.

Edit: Shipping price sent to Isense along with a couple of additional photos requested.

I have added those photos to the original post as well.

Edit: Payment received from Isense. Waiting for payment to clear. In the meantime I am packing it up so it's ready to go, and will send pictures to Isense late this afternoon. Thanks Isense!

Edit: Shipping today. Thank you Isense! I hope you enjoy the system.

Edit: Isense reports that he received the computer in good condition. I packed it well, double-boxed as promised. However he reports that he is having issues formatting floppy disks and cannot get the sound working and initially asked to return it.

I specifically sold this as-is because it's a 35 year old computer and I do not have the knowledge or ability or time to test everything on it. I described it to the best of my ability and took pics and a video of it booting. However, I offered him a partial refund of $400 so he can have the motherboard recapped and repaired if needed and he has agreed to that.

For the next items I sell, I will try to emphasize even more that I am selling as-is and I don't have the knowledge or ability or time to test fully. I cannot accept returns and will not offer partial refunds in the future.

I will wait for him to confirm here before sending him the partial refund.

@Kremlar your proof of ownership is not valid because it does not have AmiBay on it.

Please either update your proof or remove it.

I think your partial refund is very reasonable. Please take a screenshot when you have made the refund after @Isense confirms here. You can redact any personal info.

Also, Just a little advice. Try to test everything prior to listing, that way you know for sure what's working and what's not. You can then have piece of mind if you know for sure.

Add any faults to your listing and emphasize there's strictly no returns, partial, or full refunds unless the items are delivered dead on arrival. If you send fully insured you can then file a claim for compensation with the courier service.

If the item is found faulty when testing you have the option to offer them for spares or repairs and the buyer will relish all responsibility. (y)

Partial refund has been sent.

I will work to source a speaker set I can connect and a couple of floppy disks I can test with. Unfortunately I don't really have the time or knowledge to test every feature, which is why I listed as-is.

I have a couple of more systems to sell when I have time to hook them up and will try to test them a bit further than I tested this one. I will also be more verbose about selling as-is next time.

You removed one of the surnames but didn't remove the other. Photo removed for privacy reasons.

If they are Amiga systems grab a copy of Amiga Test Kit from Aminet

Hi - I believe that was his first name and not a surname so I thought it would be OK to leave it. In any case here is confirmation without any name showing.

I was speaking of the name within the text under your Redaction.

Is this Isense full name?

I believe that was just his first name, from what I can tell. In any case the latest screenshot I posted should have everything blocked out.

Thank you again!
