As many of you I've collected quite some Amiga hardware over the years. Some of which I don't use anymore. So it makes more sense to sell it to people who will make use of it.

In this topic I sell a Commodore Amiga 4000 Mainboard + Daughter Board Rev B.

Details
  • The board was in working condition (except for RTC, see below), when I tested it in the Christmas period 2023. However, as with all old hardware, I cannot give any guarantee, let alone warrantee, of it working on arrival at the buyer.
  • Recapped (not by me) some 7 a 8 years ago, with (not my choice) tantalum ceramic capacitors
  • Unfortunately the RTC area has not been cleaned/fixed enough, because even with a new coin cell fitted, it won't keep time.
  • Just to be sure: this mainboard does not contain a CPU, you need to add your own CPU board.
  • It comes with:
    • Kickstart 3.1
    • Buster 7
    • 2 MB of Chip RAM
    • 16 MB of Fast RAM
Since the item is of sufficient value and I have bad experience with sending uninsured (outside of Amibay) I will only ship insured. As a consequence it is advised you pay via Paypal for services/goods (extra cost of Paypal fees is for buyer), so we are both protected against mess-ups by logistics companies.

For now this sale is only open for people within EU.

Asking price: 1.000 euro 900 euro 800 euro
Insured shipping within EU: Depends on country and weight (I haven't packed it yet). Ranges from 15 to 40 euro
Add Paypal Goods + Services fee 2,99%

Note that I'm pretty busy these days with "life", so I may not respond instantly on PMs :)

Update March 14th: Added extra photos per @babmar85 's request
Update March 16th: Price drop
Update March 24th: Added some pictures of the board working, made those back in December 2023. NB, the A3630 CPU card is NOT part of the sale!
Update April 11th: Price drop

Those are no tantalums but ceramics.

check for continuity from battery + to c701 as seen in the picture. Guess you'll find the problem there.

Thanks @kekschen for correcting me on the types of capacitors. I updated the post.

Thanks for the interest declarations, awaiting PM from Kyle.

Update:

Updated the text, adding the (most likely well known) info that the board does not contain a CPU.
No PM from @Kyle yet. If no PM by Friday (15-3), I'll pass it to the next in line, @babmar85.
