Gents and Ladies,
This is one of my last treasures which I am selling in my quest to reduce my collection to just five machines (hoarding is just not cool!)
I have in PERFECT condition this Amiga 500. It is a first release (Commodore Chicken Head/Lips Key and embossed logo) Revision 3, Kickstart 1.2, Base 512 Kbyte and OCS
The machine has a low serial (S/N #30259). It is a european PAL model.
There is a history though to this machine.. which may be nice to know. The machine was bought by a friend of my father in 1987 (late summer, early fall) at the Allkauf in Germany (he believed it was the one in either Gelsenkirchen or Heinsberg). He bought it because he saw the Amiga 2000 machine and decided he should get this one first. Quickly after that he wanted to have the XT Bridgeboard (MS-DOS) and emulate Atari ST (via the Medusa) so he bought an Amiga 2000 as well and decided to not sell this one, just store it away.. since it was his first computer.. and liked the looks of it, he sort of left it stored away for over 25 years.. often having the idea to sell, then not.. and in the end forgot about it, only when he moved houses he called me to say he wanted to part from it and traded it with me for a Playstation for his grandkids to play when they come over.
I had this one for almost 10 years now and it seems this machine is destined to be in a closet/box/storage somehow..
Well.. no more.. and somewhat reluctant I am selling this very clean machine.. Just one condition I have.. and I know I have no legal rights.. but please, for whoever buys this machine.. use it and don't just collect it for it being a first generation Amiga 500.
The Rock Lobster comes with the heavy PSU and a very clean and perfect condition tank style mouse.
This machine is quite heavy and so is the PSU so it will be over 10KG with the packaging added.
Asking price is exclusive DHL shipping fees (approx. 8KG) and PayPal Buyer Protection Fees (approx. 3.4%) - EU/EEC Shipping Only. EU=€25 or EEC=€39
(May be offered elsewhere as well)
Asking EUR 200
