Amiga600 4MB Fast Ram Expansion
Fast RAM is a type of memory that is dedicated to the main processor, so it doesn't have to compete with the other chips to gain access to it.
The Amiga 600 was not designed to support a FASTRAM expansion, so there is no connector that supports this expansion. The only way to install it is to hook it to the CPU, using an upside-down PLCC socket.
With the 4 MB Fast Ram expansion it will be possible to run multiple applications simultaneously and more quickly. If you combine it with a CHIP RAM expansion, you will also be able to run almost all of the games supported by WHDLoad.
Furthermore the expansion will be mapped to $ 200000- $ 5fffff, which means that it will not interfere with the PCMCIA expansion port that will remain available.
The ram chips used may vary depending on availability.
The socket used is NOS (the new models on the market are not suitable for this use) and worked by hand to ensure an optimal and strong hold on the CPU.
A minimum of competence in this matter is strongly recommended. At least on how to open the Amiga 600 without doing damage to the keyboard flat or other. If not, get someone to help you.
Based on the initial LVD / NEDOPC project, the following changes have been made with the aim of reducing weight and dimensions:
PRICE is 36 EUR (paypal fees excl.)
Shipping cost:
Italy 3 EUR POSTA1
Italy SDA Courier 8 EUR
Europe 12 EUR
Europe 5 EUR (international priority mail)

Based on the initial LVD / NEDOPC project, the following changes have been made with the aim of reducing weight and dimensions:
- Replacement of the CPLD with a lighter package and without socket.
- Removed the programming header.
- Removed 2 pull-up resistors and implemented internally at the programming level.
- Fixed error where (mistakenly) a pull-up resistor on the TCK signal was in place of a pull-down as CPLD datasheet.
