Mine arrived on Saturday and is working perfectly. Thanks

arrived yesterday and already tried it out. Very happy with this what a cool device.

i have only 1 problem, when i unplug the unit to put away the pins stay in my c64, it looks like they just compress onto the device. it still works but it looks like the kind of device not designed to be fitted and removed each day.

thanks, playing beachead last night while mrs watching tv :)

Does anyone know how to load games using the pass through & loading a disc from my 1541 II?

Not sure what you asking, but the C64SD uses device id 8 (as well as the 1541 II if you did not change it - there are some switches for it on the back of the device as well as on the C64SD), so to use both you need to change the id on one of them. This is how I wrote some .d64's from the c64sd (id 10) on to disks in my 1541 II (id 8 ) at a whopping 200byte/sec speed yesterday evening :picard

Hope this helps... and many thanks for making this group buy happen :-)

Best,
Attila

What I wanna do is use the SD as like disk drive 1 & use my 1541 as disk drive 2.

That way I can still load floppy disks as well as games game from the SD?

Hope that makes sense

Yer no worries about the group buy, just glad everything turn out for everyone involved.

Edit: yer I think i Just need to change the jumpers, OK thanks.

Also what program did you use to write the .d64 files with & is there a guide?
