Sold Commodore CBM 8296 + original manuals in German + complete original packaging

I am offering a used, working Commodore CBM 8296 with serial number 6710 in original packaging and with all three original manuals in German (CBM 8032 Bedienungshandbuch, CBM 8096 Bedienungshandbuch, CBM 8096 LOS-Kit Programmierhandbuch). The CBM 8296 has been tested successfully in 80x25 character mode. It boots up quickly into Commodore BASIC 4.0 to the sound of the operating system (four short beeps) with the cursor blinking and ready to be used. The audio output works flawlessly. The monitor displays a sharp, crisp image. The keyboard works flawlessly and has German characters such as umlauts and ß. I tested it running a short BASIC programme and it worked flawlessly ("Hello World!"). The reset button works impeccably. No further testing. Due to the old age of the machine there is no guarantee. The CBM 8296 possesses traces of slight yellowing and use, but no ruptures or broken-off parts. The device should be cleaned and overhauled for safe operation. The original packaging is complete and includes both original styrofoam inserts. The serial number is the same as on the backside of the machine. Please check the attached photos carefully. No returns, no replacements, no warranties. This machine weighs more than 20 kg and will be shipped in the original packaging plus extra bubble wrap on the inside. Local pickup preferred though.
