Hello,

I am selling some MOS 6561 chips.
This is the VIC chip used in the european (PAL) Commodore VC-20 machines.

This chip has become rather hard to find lately, but I have more of them than I will probably ever need for my own repairs, so I am selling some of them.

I am asking 20,- Euro per piece.
If interested, please let me know.

Interested in 6561-101

Hi, I'm interested in two 6561-101 PAL VIC chips delivered to Adelaide Australia. Do you still have any left?

Hi, I'm converting my 250407 Rev B from NTSC to PAL. It currently has VIC-II 6567 Rev 8. Can I use any PAL VIC-II chip or must I use the same version (in this case 6569)? And must I use the same revision (Rev 8) or can I use any e.g. Rev 3?

Thanks. If your chips would work I am interested.

This thread is about the VIC-20 6561 VIC-I chip so your technical question is not related to this thread.

To convert a C64 board 250407 from NTSC to PAL, you need to change the VIC-II from 6567 to 6569 and change the clock architecture to generate 17.7344MHz/7.881MHz. Usually this means changing the crystal and tuning it with an oscilloscope.

Do you still have vic chips left? If so I am interested in one with shipping to sweden.

...Bump...

Hi Overdoc,

This thread is still marked as "For Sale". Do you still have some 6561-101s for sale?

Cheers
