There is an option on the panel to a 300Ω smd resistor for the modern LED TV's, default is shorted.

There is an option on the panel to a 300Ω smd resistor for the modern LED TV's, default is shorted.

I need more details on this. Do I have to solder something somewhere to get this to work? I'm using a HA or Sony monitor and not a LED TV.
