Closed Commodore SX64 KEYBOARD

I received a Commodore SX 64 system today. The box came heavily damaged. I think some dudes played soccer with it.

The keyboard is absolutely broken.

I believe they opened the box in the customs to check it and afterwards they put back the unit without the appropriate security.

I DESPERATELY WANT A REPLACEMENT KEYBOARD (THE WHOLE UNIT WITH PLASTICS)

Sorry to hear your SX64 problems

You may need to keep your eye out on the US evilbay site. They always seem to have people on there selling parts. I am sure there was a keyboard on this week but it has gone now.

Has the CRT has survived ?

My friend the machine was more than perfect. I bought it from a German collector. Not even one small scratch. Now the keyboard is f****d and several scratches exist around the frame.

The guy wrote on the box in German and English "Caution - Fragile - Do Not Throw"

And those b*****rds did exactly the opposite.

But right now my only concern is the SX.

Yes the CRT survived. It's a miracle. I haven't tried to power up the unit yet cause when i saw the damage i was ready to brake everything. At the moment i'm drinking coffee & Coke , smoking and SCANNING all the evilbay sections.
