I've for sale a piece of hardware history. This is a rather unusual drive, which i actually bought 'Aeons' ago, thinking i would someday make an autonomous audio player, or something for a carputer maybe...
However, it was rarely used in a pc and my Amithlon setup. Item is in overall good physical condition, albeit has some marks on the metal cover from the sliding drive bays. Remote is in great condition. You could always find non-computer-related reasons to experiment with it.
Anyway, pic time:
Detected on boot.
Booting a Solaris 9 x86 install CD.
Going through the installation trouble-free.
Detected on MakeCD as a Read drive.
Detected on Amithlon as CD1:
Browsing through the Fred Fish CD contents.
Front fascia.
Makers' label.
Top view, shows signs of sliding through drive bay.
The remote controller.
Battery holder. Takes a regular CR 2025 cell. (not included, as i borrowed it from another controller)
Tested working ok, and remote responds great. Asking 20 (was 30) Euros plus shipping, preferably towards a local member priority-wise, and EU secondary. PayPal gift or add fees please.
Thanks for looking!
