hey all, just wondering as i own one of these but have no info on it, does anyone know what or any sram chips are compatible? or ideally where to buy some from?

The SRAM on board cannot be upgraded from 512k sadly

aah ok, bummer and thanks for your help, however i do have the 8mb expansion board but there is no chips in the sockets, i dont know if it plays any part but i figured i should still be able to install them as well

Yes the daughter board takes up to 8mb and you can fit them yourself. The manual will tell you - possibly ...

My two have pretty different SRAM chips in them - I'll dig them out and get you a model number for both...
