Unfortunately I can't help you with keyboard case. I think Checkmate offers black keyboard cases but most likely in different shade.

Yeah you were right when you said that.

I have just finished building a custom keyboard to match this case (and also the black tower for my still WIP A4000TX).
I used:
- black metal case from Checkmate
- A500 adapter cable from Checkmate
- bespoke custom cable from great member a.mi.goun because the checkmate adapter uses a DIN 7 non standard header, for special DIN7 to DIN5 A2000/3000 style + a DIN5 to miniDIN ps2/A4000, with special thanks to Jan Beta from Youtube who gave the cabling details
- old A500+ keyboard from my storage
- black A1200.net keycaps
- a mod on the electronic board of the A500 keyboard to allow keyboard reset on an A4000 with Crtl-A-A by removing a transistor
and voila

Now i just need to find a way to light those LEDs for something useful, or to cover them with a nice sticker.

And of course to build the computer itself inside the case.

i am wondering if i can get the top in a clear tempered glass or lexan. want to show off the inner goodies and i am a idiot with making anything new. OR just a back plate that i could graft on to a modern PC Case to get a window .
