Hi,

Up for sale I have my precious CyberStorm PPC 604e375MHz at 366MHz with MC68060RC50 (rev. 6) at 66MHz with G-REX 4000D, both cards are from DCE (newest production, about from ~2000r). Both cards works in my A4000D, where rarely used last time, I always take care about temperature inside case (have 6 extra fan inside, to cool down cards), little copper radiators are mounted on CDPL chips on CyberStorm, so if buyer will also take care of temp. those cards should works many years.
CyberStorm is fully populated with 128MB ram, for G-Rex I'm adding Voodoo3 (SGRam version), SoundBlaster Live Gold, RTL8039.
Cards are in perfect working order, are super rare (G-Rex 4000D was build in less than 100 cards) and today in world fully working cards (and not bin) are about (I think) 10. I know that I will not have chance ever to buy it back in future, it's so rare :-/

Asking price is 5200 PLN (or 1200 EUR) for G-Rex (with Voodoo, SB, RTL), 8000 PLN for CyberStorm PPC (or 1800 EUR). If someone wants both cards price is 12000 PLN (or nearest offer).

I can split cards.
For shipping please ask, I can only send it with insurance. Ideally will be if some one can pick up and check cards locally in Poland, Częstochowa (but I know, this can be hard).
Those cards are 16 years old, so I can't give any warranty, but at the moment are fully functional in perfect working order.

Cards are also listed elsewhere.

Interested pending questions. Sending PM

I guess my reading comprehension is really suffering these last two days. I saw 2500 thinking wow what a great price for all these cards. I must not have read the whole paragraph to see that was only for half of it.

Withdraw interest. Sorry I didn't read better the first time so I wouldn't have PMed you all those questions.

After the Christmas period, I thought this thread could do with updating...
I have now placed a 'best offer' bid in for both parts of what was being sold.

With that being said as no-one else expressed an interest in the GREX, I am not doing anyone else any harm to missed opportunity of buying these parts.

I am now expressing an interest in the GREX items too now.

I await a response and payment account information, where I will pay a fee that has been agreed in PM.

Thanks

Colin

Payment received, thank you. Preparing parcel, I'll send cards tomorrow morning.

Update: Cards sent, tracking sent to Man1ac. Hope will arrive tomorrow, before weekend.

FLOPS.

Just to let you know, the box turned up today, well done for the packaging, it was well protected, this was just a update to let you know that the PPC and GREX have turned up without any visual damage.

I'll test a bit later after 6:00pm my time, as that's when I leave work, I'm excited.... ;) Is there anything I need to know before attempting to install these items that hasn't been said already?

Thank you.

Great! You need only take extreme caution when connecting G-REX to CSPPC. Because zorro raiser port in A4000D need a little more pressure to jump in and you must check if CSPPC G-REX connectors are in one line, to smoothly jump in. I heard of CSPPC which was broken into two pieces, because of ports misalignment and to much pressure on G-REX :-/

Well, its not looking too good, my Amiga now won't turn on, it starts up, i get the indivision logo on the monitor, but thats it... I get no floppy drive, nothing on the screen and even worse, if i press the caps lock key on the keyboard, the led lights up and goes off 6 - 7 times before the internal buffer runs out.
I was being especially careful when i installed the GREX, and i don't think there can be any more pressure to force either the processor down or the GREX, the port alignmedt looks spot on from where i am looking.

I do get a processor fan spinning and the small fan on the GREX is spinning too... what can I do, when I got the A4000 the capacitors were changed, so that can't be a problem. is there a reset somewhere on the board, or would taking the button battery out for a couple of hours help at all?

Where i had a 040 25mhz processor in the Amiga before, the pin for EXT is already selected, have i neglected any other setup step in getting this up and running?

Flops, any other suggestions? anyone else too?
