Yes I flashed to 44.71 there is apparently a @Cosmos 44.72 one but I cant find that anywhere

I thought BPPCFix was only for the Blizzard cards not the Cyberstorm ones due to the PPClib being in the rom of the BPPC

In regards to scout mine also shows 0Mhz like @merlinkv
Good old AI on Google gave me this answer for BPPCFix:

AI Overview

BPPCFix is a utility for Cyberstorm PPC, Cyberstorm Mk III, and Blizzard PPCcards that addresses issues with the exec.library during reboots by fixing code to be consistent with other cards and prevent crashes from reset-proof applications. The Cyberstorm PPC is an expansion card for Amiga computers that adds PowerPC processing power. BPPCFix was created to resolve problems when the Cyberstorm PPC's reboot code was not killing the exec.library correctly.

What is BPPCFix?

  • Purpose: To fix a bug in the PowerPC cards' reboot code that caused issues with reset-proof applications.
  • Function: It ensures the exec.library is killed during a reboot, which is the expected behavior for other cards, preventing crashes.
  • Scope: Applies to Cyberstorm PPC, Cyberstorm Mk III, and Blizzard PPC cards.
What is the Cyberstorm PPC?
  • Hardware:
A PowerPC accelerator card that plugs into an Amiga computer to provide faster processing.

  • Function:
It enhances the performance of Amiga systems by adding the PowerPC (PPC) processor.

  • Usage:
Systems with a Cyberstorm PPC could boot from CD-ROMs by using an early boot menu.
In summary, BPPCFix is a software fix for a hardware bug on the Cyberstorm PPC card, making the reboot process more stable for users of these Amiga accelerator cards.

Here is a screenshot of the OS on WinUAE don't know how but I've got a faster PPC today  I have almost doubled the speed

Sadly I cant emulate the Mediator ZIV due to no option for it, so went for the Mediator TX but this in turn doesn't like me adding a Picasso IV

I've also added my WinUAE conf file I'm using just remove the ".PDF" from the end of the file name

Interesting. On my Cyberstorm PPC 060@75 and PPC at 400Mhz it shows 60mhz on a A4000D. To me this is the Crystal on the board which is set at 60mhz. Showed a 66mhz crystal before Hesse downgraded it for me.

Sorry I will get a screen shot for the real amiga give me a moment

This is what my A4KD using 47.115 ROMs and 3.2.3 looks like:

So I tried ADOOMWOS on WinUAE, it was really slow but there was no crash so I may also have a problem with the BPPC but as I said the Warp3D issue replicates in WinUAE even down to crashing the emulator when Warp3d PPC demos are activated. My Wrap3D drivers are the mediator A1200 ones and I have No MMU setup in the ENVarc Mediator folder

Mine is usually just grey window and then crash I have had it very rarely work with the small PPC demo but it too will eventually crash.

Medium and full screen PPC demos are usually grey screen & crash instantly.

I've also found that the Medium 68K demo only shows grey screen but does not crash and closes when I press ESC, but the same 68K demo in WinUAE it works.

Mine might be down to the following:

- Cybervision 64/3D
- Using standard CXG V3 CYBVision 64/3D driver

I think I’m using WarpUP V4

So will try a few things, but will be backing up first 😉👍🏻

68k window demo does the same on mine.

So might be something I’m missing in my setup.
