Greetings! Up for sale is my damaged MSI Pro266TD Master-LR board.
This is a dual socket 370, Tualatin capable, motherboard, based on the Via Apollo Pro 266T. So, this particular board supports up to two Tualatin CPUs (I had it running with a couple PIII-S 1.4), DDR memory, AGP slot, on-board LAN(!), front-panel USB, ATA133+RAID Controller and even an LED diagnostic on the board itself.
Needless to say, I absolutely love this motherboard, it was in terrible shape when I first got it with multiple busted caps, which I had to replace, some of the better than others as you can see. The board was working fine until I decided to plug in an incompatible GeForce 6800 Ultra, effectively frying both the card and what looks to be a specific trace on the motherboard.
icard
The board is dead at the moment, I can't get it to POST with either an AGP or PCI card, nor give me some sort of diagnostic through the speaker or diagnostic LEDs. I guess it is not completely dead since I have seen the diagnostic LEDs change patterns a couple of times, but no more than that.
After careful visual inspection, it seems that the issue is concentrated in a specific trace near the AGP slot with a couple of resistors affected as well (they seem chipped off!). This is a little beyond my own skills and where I personally draw the line, but if someone here is knowledgeable enough to fix this, then you are getting one of the finest socket 370 boards you can ever hope to get. It truly is an exceptional board and I had a lot of fun messing around with it, that is until I killed it.
oh:
As such, I cannot ask more than 10 Euros + shipping for this board.
