I'm sure that's the one I've got.

I can string that together so that it loops forever :D

@hooverphonique

But that is exactly what happens when you connect an Amiga to a TV anyway, the fields (or lo-res frames) are shown one after the other and you get all 50 of them per second. Only difference is that you get alternating top and bottom fields rather than just one or the other. No frames are lost or need to be altered. After all, the Amiga was so popular for video work exactly because it produced a TV-compatible video signal :)

I know what you mean, but the problem is that you cannot encode in the data that the video is 50fps non-interlaced, which means that when played back, the frames will show as alternating odd/even fields causing the displayed image to flicker (at least for CRTs).. Hope that makes sense..

On the demo that is being connected 'to', you take a snapshot of the hardware (chip mem and registers) at the point where you want to connect the demo.

Then at the point where you want to leave the demo you are connecting 'from', you jump to your code that supplies the transition between the first demo to the second, using the snapshot as a base to set all the memory correctly.

It will take a trial and error to get the results you want, but you'll actually be inside the demo. Its easier to jump from a blank screen/audio off to another, but much more fun to work the two demos together.

By recording a video, you'll be missing out on so much!
