Closed DexDrive (or compatible) for PS1

As title, i'm after a DexDrive for the PS1. I know there are ones in the USA for sale but I want to see if I can avoid the hefty transatlantic postage costs and maybe find a cheaper alternative as a bonus.

From the very little googling I've done it's basically a memory card reader/writer. What's the advantage of the dexdrive over a standard USB memory card reader?

Just the ability to back up saves I guess, plus try out some that are uploaded. I wanted to experiment with the Gran Turismo games and their hidden content.

I have a Blaze MPXchanger if you're interested, which will backup & restore PS1, Gameboy Classic & N64 saves. It runs off the parallel port & needs Win 95/98 but can be made to work under XP.

£12 inc UK p+p.

Hmm might be interested, I assume it will work the same as DexDrive and they handle the same file types?

An item like this would be awesome for games like Fire Pro Wrestling G as you could have entire wrestling rosters done without the hassle of doing it yourself.

PSX Single Save - *.sbp,*.mc,*.mcb,*.psx
PSX Card Image - *.stp,*.ps,*.mci,*.gme,*.mcd
Bleem! - *.mcd
MCExplorer - *.mcb,*.mci
DexDrive *.gme

N64 Image File *.stn
GB Image File - *.stg,*.sav
