Diablo 3 open beta

They obviously took the idea from PoE, but it's cool of them nonetheless.

Signup to your BattleNet account, go to Game Client Downloads and grab the Diablo III client which is ~4GB.
I'm not exactly sure if we can play it immidiately after the install since I only started the download, but people claim they can.
The only limit is the character level which is blocked at 13.

Wowza! There's no darn way I'm paying £44.95 for a pre-purchase. That's an absolutely crazy price, considering the overall sales model also includes percentages from in-game auctions / trades (from what I hear).

No. I'll have a play with the freebie but after that I will wait for the price to come down to a sensible £19.99.

The open beta was a mistake lol. Somebody at Blizzard accidentally changed a setting to open beta.

The Diablo III beta will be ending in 10 days. The Retail is set to May 15 )

I cannot wait. I got a free copy of Diablo III when I signed up for an annual pass on y World of Warcraft Account.

The download is 7GB+. I already have it downloaded and ready to go... Now just the last 4 weeks wait.
