L10 missing from the back. Most likely that's the issue
I would say it's probably not the actual cause for the behavior described by OP. Missing (important) inductors usually result in a no-detect or BSOD/Freeze during driver installation. Anyway, once I receive the card and fix it, will make sure to write here the conclusion. :-)

Let us know what was wrong with it :). Now I noticed that an electrolytic on the front is missing as well. Do you have spare parts?

For sure, @Mario38, I will try to repair it this coming weekend and will get back with a reply once it's fixed! :)
Saw the missing capacitor too, but since those are decoupling capacitors, a missing cap would not prevent the card from working.

I do have a lot of spare components, I've been repairing electronics (as a hobby) for the better part of the last 2 decades.

REPAIR UPDATE:

I had a bit of time today to inspect the card. I replaced the inductor & missing/damaged capacitors and, as expected, nothing changed.

The issue is actually related to the TMU memory (see attached screenshots - mojo is only able to detect 1MB). I verified all resistors, traces, power delivery to TMU and its memory ICs, also checked for broken solder joints on all relevant chips / IC legs - everything looks good, which means that at least one of the TMU memory ICs is probably damaged (or, less likely, there might be an issue with the TMU itself). Looking with the thermal camera, I noticed something that might be a clue, but need to dig further in the coming weeks, once I have a bit of spare time. Anyway, I do have new memory ICs from Mouser, so, worst case scenario, I can replace all four. Will let you know about the progress.

Well, thanks to my wife, it's now fixed.

After more testing, I came to the conclusion that the TMU memory ICs were most likely OK, which meant that there was probably some other physical damage that I missed during my initial visual inspection. So I gave the card to my wife, who is known to have eagle eyes and great attention to detail and... yeah, she quickly found the tiny damage, which is also visible in @csabanw's initial photos.
Mojo now sees all 2 MB of TMU memory and the Tomb Raider image is as clean as a whistle. :)
I've attached a few images.
