Damn these site attackers! I wish there was some way to fight back these ar$eh0les. I mean payback style. :butcher

I`m a bit of an Amibay "refresh" junkie and have noticed no issues whatsoever over the last few days...
Using Linux Mint 10 Live, so have rebooted into nice fresh clean system.

Even better!
:thumbsup:MFilos

Thank you MFilos :)
It was only because of EAB (thank goodness) that I managed to get here at all.
This is awful, a site that only helps people is being targeted like this, but I am sure normal service will be resumed soon.

I hate it when people have to hack a site, they are mindless idiots..

If you have tapatalk on you phone you can access the site fine ..:)

@ All

Can I remind you all of this old saying....

"When you are up to your arse in alligators, it's hard to remember that you are trying to drain the swamp..."

The site has been attacked with a PHP exploit kit and it's not a 5 minute job to remove it. There are workarounds, so please be patient and give the Devs some space to think and elbow room to fix it.

We know that there is a problem, it's being worked on. All of those who feel the need to be Jonesing in the corner, please head to the left hand corner at the back of the room and try to keep in time with one another when you rock back and forth, as space is restricted....

Thanks

I just discovered that if I disable javascript after log in, I can access Amibay from the main index URL. Some Amibay features require it to be enabled. But for general browsing of the site you can get by without it.

*rocks back and forth in the corner. mumbeling something about it will all be ok soon..*

Right, I think that's fixed it. Do yell if you're still seeing any weird issues!

Site seems to be working now but my computer is definitely infected with something or so the microsoft security essentials full scan that is still going on would seem to suggest. D´oh!

Its back, I just got it twice redirecting me :(

hmm, still doesn't work for me. I've tried it with Firefox 12 Chrome 18 and IE9 and all of them still redirect. Strange. Emptying caches and clearing all data forms and emptying my Java Cache, see if that helps.

Hi,

I'm aware of that. This infection must have hidden itself somehere.

Back to the drawing board....

PLEASE USE THIS THREAD TO REPORT STUFF, SO THAT IT'S ALL IN ONE PLACE. THANKS.

Hi Dave :)

Should we still be using the report post button like I just did? Or just reply to the thread?

Taj

Prehaps the admin could send out a blanke email to all members advizing them to use a diferent link "not www.amibay.com or any prefix that will lead them to the indexphp front page"

som members may not be able to access the site at all and be unaware of any issues.

prehaps we could have a temopraty index page made with a diferent name so it would be like.
www.amibay.com/temp.php

where temp.php would just be a copy of index.php but renamed.

We're working through the problem. It's fixed for now and we are watching the site.

I found one suspect PHP file this evening on the site server and that's been killed off.

We'll get there...;)
