Hey guys,

The A1200 and A4000D tower kits are pretty rare and a lot are showing signs of wear these days. I was wondering if anyone had made a DIY tower kit that works with the motherboard, accelerator, add-ons, pci/zorro/etc cards, clockport cards, or whatever else one may find in one of these computers? Is there a way we can (as a community) come together and build some retro-fit kit or something, or maybe just have a boilerplate type of schematic for cutting custom backings, screw hole placement, etc? I just don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a tower kit that is in questionable shape. :)

You may check this thread ;) You will find there a backplate with dimensions. And When You're creative then You'll change dimensions of this plate that will fit to Your PC Tower case... I'm doing something similar but for A600.

Thanks!

Maybe in the age of 3d printers and whatnot, we'll be able to make something simple click-and-ship style for amiga users to create cases :)
