Hey All. here's pics of my DIY external CD-R/W drive (For my A1200) But I have a few questions. Should the drive be on the primary or secondary (4xEIDE'99 Buffered Interface) and also What jumper set to IE: Master or Cable select (I haven't completely closed the case yet).......

Put it on the `secondary channel` set to `Master` and your good to go !

Thanks for the info...

Very neat solution...I like it!

I assume the box conveniently fit the drive?

Yep the box is just the right size. But I did have to sand the sides of the four plastic supports inside a bit, so the drive would drop in between the four posts (The four posts are to screw the top to the bottom case), and I'll add pics of where I will fit the power and IDE cable connecter in my 1200 later (It won't be out the back though), as I'm waiting for the 4xEIDE'99 to arrive .......
