My A2000 has a A2630 card with a DKB 2632 installed. I'm having a problem with my A2000 locking up with this RAM card installed when it is hot. I have tried multiple SIMMs different sizes, matching them when possible and only using one at a time to rule out bad SIMMs. Jumpers were set correctly when switching them out. I also ran a RAM tests on the initial setup when it was much cooler and they passed. It has been pretty hot in my house lately, around 85-90 degrees so it may just be that. But it seems pretty suspect that my system will lock up so easily when hot. I do know that when it is cooler, system runs fine and will only lockup when overheating after a bit. Though I have not had the chance to test it with much cooler temps just yet. Have to either exit the heat wave or get A/C for the house!
Are these cards that prone to overheating and locking up?
