Hello.

I do like trackballs and i have found 2 of them in my junk.

Look at the pictures: it bears the official logo Commodore Amiga 2000. Do you know something about this device, if it has been sold by Commodore or somehow bundled with the A2000?

That's just the sticker from the front of a 2000...

It's a trackball and I can't remember who made them - spectravideo?

Any model number or such on it?

Yes it looks like the case sticker but it is deeply embedded in the trackball case so it looks like it is part of it.

It read FCC ID: HQA2VTDBK 1 MADE IN TAIWAN;

And a serial number.

You'd need either a switch on it for that purpose, or an adapter cable.

Funny that I have one here that is serial-only, but on the bottom there is a place for a switch.

The (absent) switch is to toggle pc and Amiga(!)

Too bad the actual circuit probably will not work as a genuine Amiga pointing device.

Alfa Data simply (sadly) used the same mold for the serial PC version and the Amiga/Atari version. I got a "Command and Conquer" labeled one for very little money from ebay, from a seller who obviously thought "hey, it says Amiga and Atari next to that little hole, so it must be for those computers". Well, he was wrong.
