Hey Guys, I got a second RapidRoad USB so moved the clockport version back to my A1200, somewhat as expected the 030 isn't able to drive USB Audio but it does work in as much as the device is picked up and playback is attempted. There are occasional beeps to suggest it's trying to play!

A fast 060 might be able to push it, assuming the clockport has enough bandwidth. Shame I got rid of my 060 lol.

Hi.
How does it compare with the Subway on this setup?

To resurrect this....is this USB module still available.? Easy usb transfer on my 4000 would be noice...

Time has passed. Those RapidRoad USB devices have been known to be prone to self destroy themselves for no reason and i am unsure IComp is even still selling them (that's different from the RapidRoad for the ACA500).
But you have now numerous other options with Freeway and Triton cards you can find on Amibay, new Subway 2021 you can find on Alinea Computers shop, and still some slower old cards like Thylacine which at least won't burn themselves.

Ah - right - thought that was the only option...thanks for the info...ill shop for one of the other ones....are there any reviews that you know of for them.
