Darn I just gave away my GUS max with 4MB last week to my 'brother' I do have a:
Compaq NC3120
Adaptec 2940uw2
Matrox millenium2 (4mb)
3com 3c509c - tx -m
SB audigy 1

prices? p&p a postcard and maybe a beer sometime.

Is this is also a request for pentium at systems, and if so outside UK? I have a self painted mini tower in storage with isa and pci slots. Only postage would be around 19 eu.. Some scratches, it needs a new can of spray.. I would not ask much, I know it has a scsi disk and isa scsi controller etc..

you never come close to antwerp for beers?:D

adding to jvdbossc post

I also have a dual p3 1266 tulatium collecting dust. iirc GB mem, 2940 scsi and a few spider webs, it was my old inet server.

Postage would be a premium I guess so maybe collecting dust for another 10 years is an option. (It did work great and can run w2k and w2k3, linux would be even faster)

Hi,

I might be able to help I have a socket 7 motherboard (in a desktop case) AT psu cd rom etc, booted to post beep but I have not plugged it into a screen might be a good start. I will strip it out if you would like the parts not the case.

or A bit more modern p2 tower atx psu boots to post Packard bell tower.

both a classic aged yellow look.

I'm looking for some old pc parts to build a retro DOS gaming machine:

486 PCI mainboard
Hercules Terminator PCI graphics card
Gravis Ultrasound Max sound card
Roland SC-55mkII MIDI synthesizer
AT mini or full tower case

I have a Roland RAP-10 that I could probably get working again. Predecessor to the SC-55, uses the 16-bit ISA slot.

I have a lot of old pc's and parts around here,
I have no idea if they work, but if you can come get them you can have them because my wife says i have to get rid of the things.

we wont be here monday or tuesday, but if you can make it up to north wales and give me the time to find all the bits and cases you can just collect them.
I really dont want to throw them away.

You may need to bring some boxes with you.

Have you guys PM'd the OP?? He might not have seen your updates on the thread :)

It's all in his op I think. Nobody offered him those exact items by the look of it; sounds like he's wanting to specifically build a good 486 system with particular sound and graphics cards and a nice case.

hi i have an old pentium 2 motherboard that has about 4 pci and 1 isa slot. i also have an isa 1mb tseng ET4000 graphics card, and a isa soundblaster 16 sound card if thats any help.

id let you come empty out my attic here probably has some of what you need.
Then again I do strip things down to nothing when im done with them so possibly nothing you wnat is theire.

we are trying to move to a bigger house so im gonna need to empty it sooner or later.

I do have some crt's though.
the things are big and heavy though so its unrealistic to post anything.

If I may be cheeky, can I ask what model number the SB16 is? I am looking for a very specific one.

I have a modern AT PSU (~2004) which was used only a bunch of days to power some 1541-IIs. Before I dismantle it, let me know :)

Cheers,
Oge
