Early HxC floppy emulator?

Hi

Can someone help me identify this board?
It looks like an early version of HxC SD floppy emulator, but I can't find anything similar online.
Along with it I found the PIC18F4550 which seems to be intended to be used with this board.

Bottom side has no leads, nor a silkscreen, so I have also no Idea how to populate it.

Any help is appreciated.

If it is, it must be a very early HxC. I've just had a look at mine, which is a Rev C, and it looks nothing like that.

I would date it before 2010. I found it stored with some other junk I found 12 years ago.
