I have for sale an early C64 with mainboard PCB ASSY #326298-01 and serial C08262.
The kernal ROM has been modified by someone to take both the original ROM and some sort of EPROM (see photo's).
I think it can be switched on and off via a switch on top, it also has, what I think is, a reset switch on top (see photo's of yellow/green wire).

Also the mainboard has had some more modifications but I am not an expert in this.
And like the title says; it does not work. The power LED does come on but I dont seem to be able to get any picture, no further testing done.

So, all in all I think this is an interesting C64 but it does need care and attention.

I can include a working C64 power supply if wanted.

Asking 30 euro's for the C64 + postage

its probably a jiffydos dual boot system, thats an eprom by the way not an eeprom.

maybe you should try to put the kernal rom back in without the adaptor the eprom should of had a label over it to stop it getting erased.

see if you can see anything via composite after.

Aah Eprom :) Thanks!
I'll let someone else tinker with this, if no-one else wants it I might give it a try myself but I really have too much to tinker with ;)
