Ebay scan doubler question

Has anyone bought one of these? I did, and, it works, but, there are now all sorts of vertical lines present on the monitor screen (only present when using the scan doubler/amiga combination). No lines are visible if I use the Amiga via component video/audio connection to the monitor.
