Enhanced A520 Modulator?

I got this with a bunch of Amiga gear and don't remember seeing one before.

Anyone know if this is just another version of the A520 modulator or something better?

The white cut down connector plugs into the back of the Amiga's RGB and on the other end there's an RGB output and 2 phono's.

I think that's a Genlock allowing Amiga graphics to be overlayed on top of video

Going by that info on the Big Book of Amiga Hardware i believe i have the original A8802 without the control box.

Do you have the control software that is usually bundled with it, i think it's just 1 disk.

I’m not sure but I’ll have a look.

Most titling software will work with it.

Amiga colour 0 lets video through all other colours overlay the video.
