Good day.

I am trying to play some WHDLoad games on my Amiga 2000 with a Fusion Forty 68040 accelerator with 32MB of RAM.
I tried booting to AmigaOS 3.9 and 3.1 (installed on different drives).

I get the same result no matter which way I go.

I have tried disabling the FusionForty, turning off and on the Fastkick, turning off and on its cache, turning off and on its memory. Nothing helps.

After I get the WHDLoad splash screen, and any game starts to load, my monitor flips out (see attached pictures). Any ideas?

that looks suspiciously like a pal screen mode on ntsc or vice versa.

or a badly written OCS game on ECS chipset.

Oh. I also need to point out that the "quit" key doesn't work.

My monitor (1084s) can do both PAL and NTSC.

Thanks.

I get this same effect if I load the HD version of monkey island 2 OCS on my AGA A1200
if you have 3.1 rom installed try force OCS in early startup

and the quit key might not work with 68000 cpu, 68010+ req, I do believe later versions of WHDload can fix this

Do you have your own key for WHDLoad? I once updated the program on an 1200 I bought off the other bay and it would crash like this every time - dropped my own key files (I had registered) and it worked fine.

I reinstalled the newest version from the whdload website. All is good now. I have no idea what happened.

Thanks for your help!
