My donor cart turned up today. It's a copy of Super Air Diver I bought from eBay.
Why buy a perfectly serviceable cart? Well this one has a DSP1 chip on it, and I plan on upgrading at a later date.
But to business.
The SNES Everdrive is quite a bit simpler to fit in a donor casing. The SD Card is just offset from the seam of the cartridge, so a simple cut is easy. Plus there is no button to measure off for either.
I had already printed off my label and case cover and it didn't take long to reassemble and apply the sticker. Again, it looks pretty good.
I'm a bit happier about it now, as it did seem a bit flimsy just stuck out of the top of the SNES with no case, and kids are magnetically attracted to this sort of thing!
