I sucked with my bic ones :( They only lasted for about 30 seconds and I could only melt the plastic twice before it had to be chucked away. In the end I found it cheaper getting the tools from ebay after opening my Snes and a few carts rather than buying bags of bic pens and being left with a load of innards.

anyone managed to source a good label for their Nes everdrive? also im stuck with finding a box for it, Nes carts are just too big for vhs boxes, MD ones, only one i have found it will fit in is a vtech leapster game box, but they are a bit flimsy.

would be ace to print out a proper cardboard box for it but having no luck with google searches

And me too :-) now I need to get a tool to open up a nes cart :-)

Do you know the biro trick? You can make a gamebit from a biro. Its an oldie, but goodie

Never known that to work properly. Infact I had to take a power drill to a gamecube recently to drill out the half inch of rock solid melted garbage that a previous owner had tried to use to open the case up with.
I gave it a go years ago, and after getting nowhere just forked out the couple of quid it cost me to buy a set of gamebits.
They are dead handy for all sorts of cartridges and consoles, so well worth it TBH.

Never really worked for me.

Wonder if the NES everdrive works on NES clones (not a Famiclone, but a NES clone)

I picked up a parcel today containing the SNES Everdrives, I was starting to get worried.
Everyone who has one of these carts will get an email this weekend with postage details. If you are expecting to hear something, and don't by Monday, please get in touch.
I have also completed the DSP1 upgrades and tested the carts for those who wanted them done, so they will be shipped out too.

Money is waiting

Just to let you know, I received dispatch notification for the final order today, the SD2SNES carts. Based on past delivery times, they should be here within 7-10 days.
As before, once they arrive, I will email the last remaining participants and let you know postage details.

Thanks r0jaws  My Everdrives just arrived :D
The problem working from home is I now have to spend the next 4 hours trying to avoid playing with them as I've got a software release going to QA tomorrow for testing :help:

Anyone else having trouble when the NESerdrive is put in a spare NES cart?

Mine never wants to work in one

Or maybe its that im using it in a Bayou Billy shell.

Nobody wants that ****

just got round to sticking my nes everdrive in a shell, all looks great now, need to find a decent label and create a box now.

on a random note, i played Super mario bros 1 on it through my famicom and it played at 50hz, but when i put my pal smb cart in it ramps it up to 60hz. anyone know why? just seems a tad odd

Just thinking.

Would tonight be the first public showing of the NESerdrive in the UK?
Its going out at Computer club

Sky kid dont run on it :(

That does seem odd, perhaps it's the ROM?

Good point, I don't know, it certainly could be. Worth a photo surely?
