Hard to say, any of the 5 or 6 phase ones are generally the hardest as you obviously can't save. Mission 11 was very difficult to get past because I had so few men left.

My friday is finally looking free!

I feel I may have to join the "happy" band of Fodderers! ;-)

From mission 1...

bah :-(

I chose my quotation marks wisely then ;-)

I've just pushed copies of Tiny Troopers 1 and 2 onto a small iPod Touch - FAR too easy to fling across the room, so I'm hoping it won't quite have CF's more infuriating quality ;-)

CF will get first go, though, on Friday :-)

Just finished Mission 23. This is the easiest one I've done for a while, despite having 5 phases. I did it first time and only lost about 10 men. This mission should be instead of 9 IMO... Or maybe I've just got that much better at it!

So, just the last mission to go now :)

Last one eh - uh-oh ;-)

Let's see if you can square it away before I start on Friday

It's all over! Possibly the worst ending I've ever seen, but very pleased that I've finally beaten this game. Thanks for the encouragement, I probably would have given up at Mission 7!

So, Cannon Fodder 2... :)

LOL - nicely played! :-D

You're gonna go straight into 2 - or take a well earned break and a game of something more sedate ? ;-)

Hopefully I'll still have an Amiga on Friday when I go to start playing - now THAT'LL be somewhat annoying - get a few missions from the end and have to send the Amiga to someone else ROFL :picard

It would be interesting to go back now and redo some of the missions I thought were impossible before, to see how much better at it I've actually got (if any.) The enemy soldiers certainly get faster and more accurate the further you go, they walk faster than you do by about mission 20 so you can't outrun them!

The last couple of missions didn't seem top hard considering the amount of phases they had, so looking forward to giving CF2 a bash soon!

Well done mate! I must warn you though, Cannon Fodder 2 gets very hard very quickly. It'll take patience and time, a whole lot of patience and time, it's gonna take patience and time... Ooohhh, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it right child.

Haha, not yet. I actually started playing Cannon Fodder: New Campaign which is a fan-made version, but it's so hard i've only got past the first mission, and that took me about 10 attempts! I gave up on Mission 2 Phase 1

I had my best mate over the weekend. We have few missions on CF 2. Damned hard game. Ruined my evening.

You're not wrong, New Campaign is a lot lot harder than the originals... not played it for a while :blased:

CF2 is a lot easier though than CF1, you should easily do that :)

Well I had a stab at CF2 last night and was surprised how hard it was. I got past missions 1 and 2 without losing any men, but mission 3 (which has 4 phases) is surprisingly hard. It doesn't seem impossible so I'm sure I could do it, phase 1 is easy enough, but learning from past experience I'm not willing to complete the early missions unless I can do it without losing any (or at worst very few) soldiers as you really do need a lot on the later harder/longer missions. And it's definitely harder than CF1 so far, I would say mission 3 in CF2 is the equivalent difficulty of 6 or 7 from CF1.

I'm sure I'll give it another go soon :)

My A4000 turned into a slouch a short time ago (no fast memory, or accelerator), so until I get some more in I've put my CF1/2 quest on hold before it even began :-(

Next month, for sure!

Are you still going strong on CF2 ?

I completed Mission 3 on CF2 yesterday, it's not as hard as some of the missions on CF1 but it's definitely not a good sign of things to come! I lost about 10 men over the 4 phases so may try again.

Been away from Amibay for a few weeks :-( Lots to catch up on I'm sure!

Still not had time for Cannon Fodder (1 or 2) - maybe August will herald some free time ;-)

How's CF2 progress - passed 4 ?
