Hello all

Ive picked up a GVP Jaws II 030 (40mhz)
it was given to me as probably faulty, and when I received it one of the caps had fallen off and was in the anti static bag, ive resoldered this back on. But the card just wont boot. Ive reseated everything (osc, cpu ram FPU battery, the battery is the original one) but nothing. With the card inserted, the power lights don't even come on and the Amiga seems dead. Ive tried it on 3 amiga 1200's all the same. I can upload hi res photos if needed but the card looks immaculate. Any suggestions as to where I should start? normally when ive had dodgy accelerators I just get a black screen but the whole thing is dead with this accelerator installed.

i suspect , there is problem with mach chip , i had same problem with this card , and sold it

+1!

I have a DEAD G-force 030 Combo and a faulty Mach chip is the prime suspect. :(

If the Mach chip is broken, it's not repairable without a donor board.
